Biography

Rick Kulkarni graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.S. degree in Neuroscience and obtained his medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco in 1998. He completed his Emergency Medicine training in 2002 at the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency program. Dr. Kulkarni has 17 years of experience in Emergency Medicine and has held multiple major leadership positions throughout his career. He was the Founder and President of eResidency.com and the Director, Adult Emergency Department at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He then went on to become the Vice President/Medical Director at Medscape by WebMD before ultimately founding medtigo.
